* The condemnedExile is one heck of a punishment. Lord Jamarnid knew what he was risking when he fell in love with a strange woman with bronze skin and hazel eyes named Chandrice. If everyone discovered a royal Elf Kingdom Ă„imite guard had a civilian lover, he'd suffer dearly. When Chandrice confesses she has become pregnant with his child, he ends up captured trying to smuggle her from the border. The day his son Jarahad is born, he was condemned to die. Ready for his fate, Jamarnid harbored hopes the Grey Clan Leader named Lord Serumo would adopt the child until the creature died of old age.Things don't end up as they seem.Against all logic, Serumo asks help from Chandrice's family, who just happen to be a demonic race of winged creatures known as harlequins. Taking advantage of being able to fly into the capital undetected, they save a wounded Jamarnid... only for the Grey Clan to be nearly exterminated in retribution a few days later.Despite seeking refuge with the harlequins in Orsenmuray, humans paid from the kingdom's coffers infiltrate and destroy the city, forcing the elves and harlequin survivors to seek refuge a second time. With scant options left, they have erected a new tent city in a desertic bay next to the ocean and named it Almjarhad. This is where the real story begins.
Meet the protagonists
The seer
Talgel

Talgel is the main protagonist of this book series. Born to an unnamed harlequin mother and pureblood elf father, she is the first halfling in history to have awakened a magic familiar known as a demonic phantom beast, the terrifying Giltemarraj.
Endowed with the ability to see someone's future with absolute certainity at the price of ending up blind, Talgel will heed no shame to prod, lie and coerce her peers to save Almjarhad from an imminent threat.
This could have been her plan all along.
The Child
Tioja

Tioja thought life would be easy. Help build his birth city, learn magic, and love his parents.
Life can crush the rose tinted glasses of a child far too easily. Not only are his parents arguing nonstop, but he was born with a rare magical ability that is uncontrollable and slowly rendering him insane. Can he ever return to his carefree life, or become embroiled in Talgel's wicked plans?
The hero
Jarahad

Jarahad languishes from survivors guilt. Conscious his existence is the reason why the elves and harlequins ended up exiled, he feels a need to prove his worth.
If sacrificing his morals to bond with a cursed magical sword is the price to keep his people safe, then so be it.
Even though he knows it is a fool's errand, Jarahad harbors slim hopes Talgel will accept her disability, marry him and become Happily Ever After.
Much to his chagrin, fate can be cruel.
The condemned
Jamarnid

Jamarnid survived his execution at the price of losing both legs and having his hands crushed into pieces.
Embittered about his situation when he wanted to be executed in the first place, he is forced to relay most clan rulership duties to his son Jarahad.
Distrustful of Talgel, he watches hopelessly as she manipulates everyone for her ulterior motive. Is he just another pawn?

The first half of the story
Fragmented fates
As the first half of the duology, most of the story is centered on setting the somber but hopeful vibe of the newborn city of Almjarhad, whose inhabitants work tirelessly to bring to life.
After suffering a menial injury fighting against a petty criminal, Talgel is assigned a new roomate, a pureblood harlequin woman named Henrietta, whose true identity remains a mystery.
The story becomes set in motion and never backs down when Talgel has a vision that might spell the salvation or future destruction of the city.
Knowing the stakes, Talgel's tenacity will force her to toss away any lingering morals to obtain the correct future.
The second half of the story
Savior on the zenith
As the second and final half of the duology, Savior on the zenith focuses on Tioja's new life among harlequins and the tennuous relationship with his half brother Gulraj.
Meanwhile, A strange man dressed in a jester costume appears in Almjarhad who will stop at nothing to conquer the city, even if it means killing innocents.
As the only person that knows what will happen, Talgel is acting recklessly and has lost all hope Tioja will return to save the city...

Mailing list button coming soon
Thank you
I plan to make a new mailing list sometime to curb prior issues I've had with my old list. When I have it set up, I will share it here.
I only send emails whenever I release a new book, which is actually very rare. Maybe 1 email each year.
